[原文]Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in phpBB 2.0.19, when "Allowed HTML tags" is enabled, allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a permitted HTML tag with ' (single quote) characters and active attributes such as onmouseover, a variant of CVE-2005-4357.
phpBB contains a flaw that allows a remote cross site scripting attack. This flaw exists because the application does not strip single-quote characters in permitted HTML tags in the 'url' variable upon submission to an unspecified script. This could allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between the browser and the server, leading to a loss of integrity.
Currently, there are no known upgrades or patches to correct this issue. It is possible to correct the flaw by implementing the following workaround: Set the "Allow HTML" to 'no' in the Administration control panel.
This option can be found in:
General Admin >> Configuration >> User and Forum Basic Settings.
