[原文]Apache Tomcat 4.0.3, when running on Windows, allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via a request for a file that contains an MS-DOS device name such as lpt9, which leaks the pathname in an error message, as demonstrated by lpt9.xtp using Nikto.
Apache Tomcat contains a flaw that may lead to an unauthorized information disclosure. The issue is triggered when a remote attacker requests certain MS-DOS device names, which will disclose the software's installation path resulting in a loss of confidentiality. While such information is relatively low risk, it is often useful in carrying out additional, more focused attacks.
Upgrade to version 4.1.3 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
