[原文]Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in auction.pl in EveryAuction 1.53 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the searchstring parameter. NOTE: the provenance of this issue is unknown; the details were obtained solely from third party sources and independently verified using source code inspection.
EveryAuction contains a flaw that allows a remote cross site scripting attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate the searchstring variable upon submission to the auction.pl script. This could allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between the browser and the server, leading to a loss of integrity.
Currently, there are no known upgrades, patches, or workarounds available to correct this issue.

EveryAuction EveryAuction 1.53
EveryAuction is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input.
An attacker may leverage this issue to run arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Attackers must entice an unsuspecting victim to open a malicious URI.
