phpwcms contains a flaw that allows a remote cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate the 'i' and 'text' parameters or fields upon submission to the 'act_newsletter.php' script. This may allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary script code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between their browser and the server.
Currently, there are no known workarounds or upgrades to correct this issue. However, phpwcms has released a patch to address this vulnerability. Check the vendor advisory or solution in the references section.
