[原文]The file download dialog in Mozilla Firefox 0.10.1 and 1.0 for Windows uses the Content-Type HTTP header to determine the file type, but saves the original file extension when "Save to Disk" is selected, which allows remote attackers to hide the real file types of downloaded files.
Mozilla Firefox Content-Type Header "Save to Disk" File Extension Spoofing
Remote / Network Access
Loss of Integrity
Mozilla Firefox contains a flaw that may allow a malicious user to spoof file types in the file download dialog. The issue is triggered when saving a file to disk with "Save to Disk" option and the "Content-Type" header has been carefully modified. It is possible that the flaw may allow malicious files to be saved to the download directory, which by default is the desktop.
Upgrade to version 1.0.1 or higher, as it has been reported to partially fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
