[原文]Integer underflow in the Lists_MakeMask() function in lists.c in ngIRCd before 0.8.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a long MODE line that causes an incorrect length calculation, which leads to a buffer overflow.
A remote overflow exists in ngIRCd. ngIRCd contains an integer overflow in the Lists_MakeMask() function. With a specially crafted request, an attacker can cause a DoS and arbitrary code execution resulting in a loss of availability and integrity.
Upgrade to version 0.8.2 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
