[原文]Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in thttpd 2.07 beta 0.4, when running on Windows, allow remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a URL that contains (1) a hex-encoded backslash dot-dot sequence ("%5C..") or (2) a drive letter (such as "C:").

        thttpd对部分编码缺少正确处理,攻击者可以提交类似'%5c..'的字符绕过WEB ROOT限制,以WEB进程权限在系统上查看任意文件内容。

Acme thttpd 2.0.7 Directory Traversal Vulnerability (EDBID:24350)
windows remote

0 CoolICE
N/A [点击下载]

It is reported that thttpd is susceptible to a directory traversal vulnerability. This issue presents itself due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. This issue only exists in the Windows port of the application, as it does not correctly take into consideration the environmental attributes of file system access in applications.

This issue may allow an attacker to retrieve arbitrary, potentially sensitive files, from the affected host computer, as the user that the thttpd process is running as.

Version 2.07 beta 0.4 of thttpd, running on a Microsoft Windows platform is reported vulnerable to this issue.\test.ini

- 漏洞描述

thttpd contains a flaw that allows a remote attacker to access arbitrary files outside of the web path. The issue is due to the server not properly sanitizing user input, specifically traversal style attacks (../../) supplied via URI that are encoded. In addition, files can be accessed by calling them with the drive specification and absolute path.
