[原文]Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in index.php in Mambo Open Source 4.5 stable 1.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) return or (2) mos_change_template parameters.
It has been reported that the Mambo 'index.php' script is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability. This issue is due to a failure of the application to properly validate user supplied URI input. This issue could permit a remote attacker to create a malicious link to the vulnerable application that includes hostile HTML and script code. If this link were followed, the hostile code may be rendered in the web browser of the victim user.
Mambo Open Source index.php Multiple Parameter XSS
Remote / Network Access
Loss of Integrity
Mambo Open Source 4.5 contains a flaw that allows a remote cross site scripting attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate the "return" and ""mos_change_template" variables upon submission to the index.php script. This could allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between the browser and the server, leading to a loss of integrity.
Upgrade to version 1.0.4 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
