[原文]Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in mailpost.exe in MailPost 5.1.1sv, and possibly earlier versions, when debug mode is enabled, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary web script or HTML via the append parameter.
MailPost is reported prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability. This issue presents itself due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data and can allow an attacker to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser.
This vulnerability may allow for theft of cookie-based authentication credentials or other attacks.
MailPost 5.1.1sv is reported prone to this issue. It is possible that other versions are affected as well.
MailPost contains a flaw that allows a remote cross site scripting attack. This flaw exists because the application does not validate 'append' variables upon submission to the 'mailpost.exe' script. This could allow a user to create a specially crafted URL that would execute arbitrary code in a user's browser within the trust relationship between the browser and the server, leading to a loss of integrity.
Currently, there are no known upgrades, patches, or workarounds available to correct this issue.
