A remote overflow exists in A-FTP. The A-FTP server fails to check the size of the username resulting in a buffer overflow. With a specially crafted request, an attacker can cause the FTP server to crash resulting in a loss of availability.
Currently, there are no known upgrades, patches, or workarounds available to correct this issue.
