rpmdrake contains a flaw that may allow a malicious user to overwrite or corrupt files on local file system. The issue is a result of insecure temporary files in the /tmp directory. It is possible that the flaw may allow circumvention of file access permissions resulting in a loss of integrity.
Upgrade to version 1.3-52 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
