[原文]Microsoft Excel 97 and 2000 does not warn the user when executing Excel Macro Language (XLM) macros in external text files, which could allow an attacker to execute a macro virus, aka the "XLM Text Macro" vulnerability.

Microsoft has released patches which rectify this issue. This vulnerability may affect earlier versions of Microsoft Excel. Therefore, users of previous versions are recommended to upgrade to either Excel 97 or 2000 and apply the appropriate patches. Microsoft Excel 2000
Microsoft Excel contains a flaw that may allow a malicious user to run a macro without warning the user. The issue is triggered when a malicious user creates a text file containing Excel macro commands, and embed commands in a spreadsheet that, if executed, would launch the macro without asking the user for permission. If may be possible for the malicious user to persuade the user to launch the file containing embedded macro code resulting in a loss of integrity and/or availability of data.
Currently, there are no known workarounds or upgrades to correct this issue. However, Microsoft has released a patch to address this vulnerability.
