Requesting a URL containing a string of exactly eight characters following the /cgi-bin/ directory (17 characters in total) will cause AnalogX SimpleServer:WWW to shut down.

AnalogX SimpleServer:WWW contains a flaw that allows a remote attacker to crash the service. The issue is due to improper checking of GET requests made to the /cgi-bin/ directory. If a remote user requests a URL with exactly 8 characters, they may crash the server.
Upgrade to version 1.04 or higher, as it has been reported to fix this
vulnerability. An upgrade is required as there are no known workarounds.
